| What’s new in type May 2026 \| A great typographic eye is developed through constant observation. With time, it becomes instinctual. We’re here to help with both. This month we’re introducing four new releases, welcoming two more foundries into the TTF family, and sharing a platform update that changes what you can do on Typographer. New fonts Cisne A display serif built with tension. Cisne is an Art Deco variable font family designed as an ode to Speedball lettering. With expressive swashes and refined curves it is suited to editorial and branding work. Designed by Maximiliano Sproviero for Sproviero Type. Explore Cisne Rosebriar A decorative typeface with a slightly nostalgic personality. Rosebriar is ornamental and full of character without locking you into a single look. P22 Stickley 2 is a feature-rich font family with expanded optical styles and multiscript support for Cherokee, Cyrillic, Greek, and Latin. Sturdy, refined, and elegant—a true thoroughbred. Designed by Michael Stickley for P22 Type Foundry. Explore Stickley 2 La Mericana A heritage typeface updated with warmth and character. La Mericana evokes classic signage and branding, while new ligatures, alternates, and true italic add flexibility.
